Responsibilities:

The Temporary Survey Interviewer adheres to the study protocol to identify and interview at various study sites to complete all associated study data collection that is complete and accurate; performs related responsibilities as required. Assignment may involve working holidays and/or Saturdays/Sundays.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework preferred.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to explain research studies professionally and ethically to participants.

• Successful completion of study training sessions and related certifications.

• Receptive to monitoring and constructive feedback from supervisors to continuously improve quality and technique.

• Proficient in using a computer tablet.

• Comfortable interacting with a diverse population.

• Legible handwriting for any required documentation.

• Access to reliable transportation (personal vehicle or public transit).

• Prior research experience is highly desired.

Pay Rate: $27.40/hour

Working Hours: M/W/F, 9am - 2pm

TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT

This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements. Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver’s License for driving university vehicles.

The majority of our temporary positions are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment. Comprehensive benefits options are also available for temporary employees, including paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
