Job Description

Our client, a division of a Fortune 500 firm, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. This will include:

• Oversee indirect tax compliance, including sales and use taxes, VAT, and other transactional taxes.
• Contribute to the overall company review and management of the effective tax rate and tax accounting in the company’s financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage the relationship with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring timely and accurate communication and support.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and provide recommendations on how they may impact the organization’s tax position.

Requirements:

• 8+ years indirect tax experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Management experience preferred
