We serve a global market with our MERACRYL® methacrylates and PMMA molding compounds under the PLEXIGLAS® brand (in the Americas registered under the trademark ACRYLITE®), which we manufacture in our worldwide production network. WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

• Perform in process and final lot testing of plant product and compare against testing plans and specifications
• Evaluate & test incoming raw materials against specifications
• Maintain inspection, measuring and test equipment and perform verifications  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Follow safety and environmental standards of the Company.
• Maintain a clean lab that promotes safe, accurate, and efficient completion of quality tasks.
• Assure material is of acceptable quality by performing necessary lab tests/ inspections.
• Review analytical results to determine they are meaningful, accurate and completed in accordance with the Control Plan.
• Advise Production staff when quality does not meet specifications or is trending in an undesirable direction.
• Maintain the integrity of all quality testing by ensuring cleanliness and utilizing appropriate standards.
• Operating knowledge of all lab equipment including computer equipment & software.
• Perform special tests & inspections as directed.
• Inspect incoming material as described by procedure.
• Write legibly on critical inspection and testing records.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Understanding of weights and measures

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• Hazardous Exposures:  hazardous materials, loud noise, extreme heat or cold
• Physical Lifting Requirements and frequency:  medium (up to 50 pounds), heavy (over 50 pounds)
• Other Physical Requirements and frequency:  regular (up to 3 hrs/day), frequent (over 3 hrs/day)
• Climbing / Climbing Stairs
• Walking
• Standing 3-4 hours
• Stooping/Kneeling
• Pulling/Pushing
• Ability to meet the criteria of plant safety policies/procedures
