Regional Executive Commercial Underwriter - Insurance Regional Carrier - Base Salary to 120k/year - Spokane, WA

• Our client, a respected and established 100+ year regional carrier that operates in CA, AZ, NV, OR and WA has an immediate need for a Regional Executive Commercial Underwriter to join their team. This is a hybrid position in Spokane, WA.

Responsibilities:

• The Regional Executive Commercial Underwriter will be responsible for the evaluation of small to middle market risks within a defined business territory. The Regional Executive Commercial Underwriter will review individual submissions for Commercial lines to evaluate risk attributes, pricing and business fit within Company guidelines and policies. This position is responsible for building strong agency relationships to develop new business opportunities; retain a strong renewal book of business and manage the overall book to profitability metrics. This position represents a senior technical level of underwriting authority and is capable of the evaluation of more complex and sophisticated commercial risks within the region. The Regional Executive Commercial Underwriter will also be making regular production calls and develop new business production.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience writing small to middle market commercial risks.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k - 120k/year range plus profit sharing, bonus & salary increases.

• Hybrid role. 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
