Exciting Career Opportunity – Junior Paralegal (Remote, Litigation Support)

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is supporting a reputable San Diego-based defense firm in their search for a Junior Paralegal to join their litigation team. This remote opportunity is ideal for paralegals with civil litigation experience who are looking to contribute meaningfully to business and employment litigation cases. This role features an annual billable hour goal of 1,500 hours and offers the chance to grow within a collaborative legal team.

Location: Remote (Firm based in San Diego, CA)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000

What You’ll Do:

• Organize, index, and maintain client documents, discovery materials, and third-party records
• Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, including subpoenas, motions, pleadings, discovery responses, contracts, and general correspondence
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys in case development
• Manage electronic client files and ensure accurate document retention
• Track case deadlines and assist with discovery preparation and coordination
• Communicate directly with clients and witnesses to gather information and provide case updates
• Assist in preparing arbitration/trial binders, exhibits, and materials for court appearances
• Provide support to senior paralegals and attorneys on legal projects and case management
• Upload, process, and conduct searches in eDiscovery platforms to assist with document production

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 2–5 years of civil litigation experience as a paralegal
• Education: ABA-Approved Paralegal Certification required
• Technical Skills:
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms preferred
• Familiarity with document management software highly desirable
• Professional Qualities:
• Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Able to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting
