Private family looking hire a Live-In Nanny/House Manager in Princeton, NJ!

*This is a Live-In position. You can go home on the weekends if you’d like or stay. Private room provided.*

The Ideal Candidate: A busy physician family is seeking a full-time, live-in Nanny/House Manager to care for their bright and energetic 7-year-old son and help keep their home running smoothly. This is a long-term position for a seasoned, career nanny who is highly organized, proactive, and experienced with children who have ADHD or are on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate is calm, easy-going, flexible, and able to step into a fast-paced household with minimal direction. Both parents have demanding schedules, and they are looking for someone who can bring structure, routine, and consistency to their home and child’s day-to-day life.

Primary responsibilities include getting the child ready and off to school, preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining his room and belongings, escorting him to after-school activities, helping with homework, encouraging limited screen time, and assisting with meal prep for his dinner. The candidate will also coordinate and attend playdates, outings, and extracurriculars, and will be expected to establish and maintain a predictable daily and weekly rhythm for the child. A valid driver’s license is required, and a family car will be provided for work-related driving, and personal use after your shift if needed. The candidate must be comfortable driving to activities and running household errands.

Household management duties will include grocery shopping, handling returns and pickups, maintaining clean and tidy common areas between deep cleans (a professional cleaning team handles all deep cleaning), helping organize and streamline the home, scheduling and managing vendors or repair professionals, and keeping the kitchen and main living spaces neat. The family travels domestically 2–3 times a year and internationally 1–2 times a year, and they would love for the nanny to travel with them. All travel time will be compensated at the appropriate overtime rate, and all expenses covered.

Bonus points go to candidates with ABA training or certification, and those who have worked in similar roles for high-level professional families. What Works Best for Family: Calm, easy-going, flexible, organized, driver’s license, experience working with ADHD children. Looking for someone excellent that’s looking to commit to 5+ years of being with our family.  Someone comfortable with a dog. They have a medium sized dog, who does go to doggy daycare, but they’re hoping to find someone to love on him at home more.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: – M-F 6:30AM-11:30AM, break 12PM-3PM, then back on 3PM-7PM. 45 hours a week.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$38/hr
• Living Accommodations: Live In- Private room will be provided.
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
