DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute in-depth analyses to support new business development, transaction origination and execution. Deliver investment banking products and services to clients and prospects including buyside M&A, sellside M&A, IPOs, follow-ons, debt raises, and capital structure advisor. Work and train analysts' financial modeling and corporate finance skills. Review and generate financial models to perform detailed valuation analysis. Review and generate marketing materials for debt & equity offerings as well as mergers and acquisitions. Build meaningful client relationships. Manage a cross-functional team including debt, equity, M&A, CFA in order to deliver a comprehensive recommendation or solution for clients. Up to 25% domestic travel required to client sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking, Investment Banking Analyst, Investment Banking Intern/Summer Analyst or related Occupation. Experience can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree completion through professional work experience or internships..
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Financial forecast modeling, financial valuation modeling, developing capital allocation marketing materials for use with public company clients; working on capital markets transactions while serving in a lead left capacity including IPOs, Term Loans and Bonds; Participate in and lead dialogue with clients on aspects of a M&A, debt and equity transaction including diligence, presentation drafting and call scheduling; Working in at least 1 sub vertical of the diversified industries team such as Automotive, Chemicals, Aerospace, Defense, Capital goods, Basic Materials, or Transportation; and Conducting IB transaction within at least 1 sub vertical of the diversified industries team. Experience in the skills can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree completion through professional work experience or internships. Up to 25% domestic travel required to client sites.
