Lighthouse Lab Services is the leading provider of clinical laboratory recruiting and consulting services in the United States. We're partnering with a fast-growing clinical diagnostics laboratory in the Miami Lakes, FL area to find a talented FP&A Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with healthcare or laboratory experience to step into a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership to drive strategic financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning for all lab operations

• Deliver monthly P&L variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and executive-level reporting

• Build financial models to support capital investments, service line expansion, and reimbursement changes

• Analyze cost per test, test mix, volume trends, and operational efficiency metrics

• Collaborate with lab operations to understand cost drivers (labor, reagents, equipment utilization) and integrate into financial strategy

• Partner with commercial leaders on pricing strategies and payer contract modeling

• Conduct ad hoc analysis for new business opportunities and internal performance initiatives

• Track and report on industry trends affecting the lab (e.g., Medicare fee schedule updates, regulatory changes, reimbursement policies)

• Support the CFO in preparing materials for board meetings, audits, and investor reviews

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA/CFA preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within healthcare or diagnostics

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

• Proficiency with Excel and experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, NetSuite, Anaplan, etc.)

• Clear and confident communication skills, able to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional leadership team

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a clinical lab or diagnostics testing environment

• Familiarity with reimbursement models, revenue cycle metrics, or healthcare-specific KPIs

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
