**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Apply expert knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, military system specifications, and computer security best practices to secure Navy systems.
+ Support the implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF), including boundary defense, A&A packages, and continuous monitoring.
+ Configure and manage IA-enabled appliances, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routers/Switches, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), ESS, and related technologies.
+ Perform STIG implementation, configuration hardening, and compliance validation.
+ Conduct vulnerability assessments using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and ensure mitigation via patching and secure configuration.
+ Implement vendor security patches across Linux and Windows operating systems to remediate vulnerabilities.
+ Maintain and update RMF documentation in eMASS, including test plans, security controls assessments, POA&Ms, and supporting artifacts.
+ Support cybersecurity requirements specific to the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) and TSCE Program, including ship installation protocols and mission-specific cybersecurity integration.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Experience:
+ A combined total of 10 years of full-time professional experience across the following:
+ Computer security, military systems, and DoD cybersecurity policy execution.
+ Understanding of NCRC and TSCE Program requirements, including Navy shipboard cybersecurity protocols.
+ RMF implementation and use of IA appliances such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Routers/Switches, Cross Domain Solutions, eMASS, and ESS.
+ Application and validation of STIGs and secure configurations.
+ Conducting vulnerability scans using ACAS.
+ Remediating findings with vendor patches on Linux and Windows OS platforms.
+ Certifications:
+ DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (One of the Following):
+ CASP+ CE
+ CCNP Security
+ CISA
+ CISSP (Associate)
+ GCED
+ GCIH
+ CCSP
+ Education:
+ Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
+ Clearance:
+ Must possess a Secret clearance (IT Level I Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position)
