Job Description

Description We are in the search for a dedicated Controller to be a part of our dynamic team in Silicon Valley, California. In this role, you will be required to manage daily accounting operations, collaborate with external teams for improved financial reporting, and supervise teams handling accounts payable, payroll, and grants receivables. This role is pivotal in our organization as it oversees the integrity of financial reports and facilitates audit processes. Responsibilities: - Manage the daily accounting and financial operations within the team. - Work closely with external consulting teams to enhance the structure and accuracy of financial reports. - Ensure the delivery of precise and timely financial reports for all legal entities. - Carry out quarterly reconciliation on all balance sheet accounts and prepare flux analysis. - Supervise the external financial reporting of grants. - Manage teams handling Accounts Payables, Payroll, and Grants Receivables. - Oversee the updates to the Chart of Accounts in Sage Intacct. - Regularly update and maintain financial policies and procedures. - Support the Chief Financial Officer in implementing and overseeing internal controls. - Work with external auditors to streamline audit processes, including agency audit, Single Audit, 5500 audit, workers comp audit, and grant monitoring audits. - Drive improvements in processes within Sage Intacct and Paycom. - Participate in monthly Leadership Team meetings. Requirements - Proven experience as a Controller with a minimum of 10 years in the field - Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) - Demonstrated expertise in Auditing - Proficiency in using Sage Software - In-depth understanding of Non-profit Accounting - Experience with Single Audit in a non-profit environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
