Job Description

We’re seeking a polished and experienced Bar Manager to oversee an elevated beverage program and bar operations with a prestigious, invitation-only private members club in Washington, DC,. What You’ll Do:

• Create and manage a beverage, spirits and cocktail program for a multi-venue private club including two bars and a restaurant. Have input into the wine list as your experience dictates. Manage inventory, costs and cocktail development. 
• Hire, develop, and lead a polished and professional bar team aligned with the standards of a members-only space, ensuring discretion, excellence, and elegance in every detail. Oversee the day to day management of the club. 
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on cocktail pairings and bespoke beverage offerings
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls, with an emphasis on quality and exclusivity
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and guest experience
• Represent the club's values and maintain a service style that reflects the exclusivity of the membership

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of bar management experience in a fine dining, luxury hotel, or private club setting
• In-depth knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
• Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills with an intuitive approach to guest service
• Proven ability to lead a team in a high-touch, detail-driven environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events as needed
