Accounting Assistant – Rosemont, IL
Job Info - Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: 6300 North River Road, Rosemont, Illinois 60018
- Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Salary: $20/hr + bonus potential

About The Job As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a key role in managing the full accounts payable cycle, supporting accounts receivable activities, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. This position involves handling a high volume of transactions and requires strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and general ledger systems is a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities - Review and process vendor and supplier invoices for payment
- Enter and code invoices in Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting system
- Execute weekly disbursements via check, ACH, and credit card
- Handle customer invoicing, receipts, credit memos, and refunds
- Record daily deposits and reconcile bank accounts
- Process and audit employee reimbursements and customer referrals
- Register customer warranties and manage financing transactions
- Support ad-hoc projects within the Accounting and Finance team
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and cross-department communication
Job Requirements - 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounts payable experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
